Lahaina Realty on Fort Myers Beach for over 50 Years! Our history begins in 1966 when George Hollingsworth started Topical Hut Real Estate, with an office located at Times Square. He later moved his offices to the timeshare he helped build, known as The Lahaina Inn and renamed the company Lahaina Realty. He then later moved to the Gulf West Wind where it would remain for many years. In 1981 he sold the business to his daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Paul Gessler. Paul managed the office until 1993 when Jessica Titus purchased the business after working for them for 10 years. In 1996 Titus moved the business to its current location at 6035 Estero Blvd., and in that same year acquired Lynn Gillis Real Estate. In 2001 Lahaina Realty acquired Jewel Realty. By 2003 Lahaina Realty was expanding by leaps and bounds, with a strong team of agents in the Real Estate division and Seasonal & Annual Rentals divisions. Always wanting to “keep it in the family”, Titus sold the business to Larry and Paula Kiker, where Paula had been an agent for several years. The Kiker’s first priority was to renovate the inside and outside of the building and upgrade the technology in the office, a total renovation of the building was done and it is now an environment that welcomes clients to a warm and friendly atmosphere. In 2005 with the business growing rapidly, in order to service the client best, The Kiker’s sold the Seasonal Rental Division, Lahaina Island Accommodations, to Paul and Barb Garfold so they could concentrate on Real Estate sales and long term rentals.
